Samsung Front Load Washer with Steam
This model is currently unavailable for order. It may have been discontinued by the manufacturer, replaced by a different model, or is back ordered with no projected arrival date. The following information is provided for reference purposes only.
The WF45M5500 is Samsung's standard front load steam washer. This 27" wide model is the most common size on the market, which means it will fit most laundry rooms. (Though as always, carefully double check your clearances before ordering.) This model adds Samsung's Steam Wash function, which uses the power of steam to remove stains without pre-treatment. Unlike other washers which release steam from above, Samsung releases steam from the bottom of the laundry tub, saturating every item in the load and leading to an even deeper clean.
The Self Clean+ cycle solves the most common complaint with front load laundry, which is keeping your machines clean. The Self Clean+ keeps your laundry drum fresh and odor-free without the use of harsh chemicals through a combination of soaking, pulsating and high speed spinning. Self Clean also sends reminders to clean the drum every forty wash cycles.
This model also features Samsung's Smart Care capability, which lets you troubleshoot problems right on your smart phone. You can perform an immediate diagnosis and the system offers quick solutions to common problems which may save you from a service call.
Samsung's VRT Plus Technology is built in to this washer, an advanced vibration dampening and suspension system that reduces noise vibration 40% more than Samsung's standard VRT system. This makes the WF45M5500 quiet and ideal for applications where noise and movement are undesirable, such as second floor installations.
