KitchenAid 5 Burner Free Standing Gas Range with Convection
X Close
One of the best values in gas ranges from KitchenAid, this KFGG500 features five burners, true convection, and even includes a griddle.
KitchenAid's Even-Heat true convection is engineered to produce flawless baking and roasting results. A unique bow-tie shaped convection vent plus a heating element directly behind the convection fan combine to evenly heat the entire oven cavity to precisely the temperature you select. Intelligent temperature control fluctuates less than competing models, and automatically compensates for situations such as opening the oven door. All three oven elements plus the convection fan are used during preheating to get the oven to temperature faster. KitchenAid's true preheat uses sensors to determine when your entire oven is actually to temperature and alert you -- not a timer.
With automatic convection conversion, take the guesswork out of cooking with convection. You can use this feature to automatically adjust baking times and temperatures from traditional recipes for convection cooking. This model's intuitive touch enabled oven controls are located on the backboard and respond to a light touch of your fingers.
Inside, a total of three oven racks including one max capacity rack provide plenty of options for loading your oven. The max capacity rack is shaped to allow large or tall items to fit into the oven without crowding an upper rack.
On the cooking surface, continuous cast iron grates provide easy placement and transfer of pots and pans. The included nonstick griddle is perfect for anything flat, like grilled cheeses or even steak sandwiches or burgers. Five burners provide extra cooking flexibility. The cooktop surface is solid stainless steel, not enameled, so it can't crack, flake, or chip.
This model features an 18,000 BTU maximum power main burner for easy frying and saute, or rapid boiling. All five burners are sealed to prevent spills from getting inside, making cleanup easier.
Clean your oven in less than an hour with KitchenAid's new Aqualift steam cleaning feature. This system combines low heat, below 200 degrees, with water to release baked on spills. This cleaning cycle is fast and leaves your oven interior ready to be wiped off, without the need for chemicals or a long, hot self cleaning cycle. (This model does not feature traditional self cleaning.)
