With their Door-in-Door refrigerators, LG has been the pioneer in refrigerator efficiency. Only LG refrigerators have a swing open divider between the showcase door and main fridge compartments to minimize cold air loss, allowing you to access drinks and condiments stored in the Door-in-Door compartment without impacting the temperature of the rest of your fridge. Now, the InstaView system improves efficiency even further by allowing you to see inside without opening the door at all! Simply knock on the outside of the door panel and the integrated window turns clear, allowing you to see what's inside without opening the door to allow cold air to escape.

This model is LG's top of the line InstaView model and is built with a 4 door french door layout and a huge 29.7 cubic foot capacity. This model is deeper than most, so please carefully measure your installation location and building entrances to ensure that you can fit this large capacity refrigerator! An on-door ice and water dispenser is provided backed by LG's Slim SpacePlus ice maker system which does not take up any room inside the refrigerator.

The CustomChill center drawer on this model is a true separate compartment that can be independently temperature controlled to suit whatever you store inside it -- from drinks to fresh meats or vegetables to deli products and more. Four temperature settings are available: 29, 33, 37, and 42ï¿½ F.

Inside, premium LED lighting makes food easy to find. The glass shelves are adjustable and spill resistant, with a split design that allows high/low placement on either side of the fridge independently to allow you to fit various sizes of items. A folding shelf is also provided for quick and easy allowance for tall items without having to remove a shelf.

A total of eight temperature sensors constantly monitor the inside of this fridge -- double or more the number of competing premium refrigerators -- to adjust the output of the linear compressor and keep the interior at the right temperature. Dual evaporators independently cool the fridge and freezer compartments so the temperature of one won't affect the other.
